Gluten Free Pasta

Lo and behold, doing my weekly shopping trip, guess what I came across in the regular pasta aisle, Gluten Free Pasta.  This is a new brand and is a combo of rice and corn, it was around $2.00 a bag and I enjoyed the texture when it cooked.  I had made the mistake of watching Test Kitchen on saturday morning and they made cheesy baked rigatoni so I did my own version with organic tomato sauce spiced with fresh basil, garlic and oregano and just a smidge of mozzarella.  Keep looking for these options at your big box stores and be sure to let them know you appreciate the options of gluten free products.

HI Gretchen: Have you found the rice pasta from Tinkadyia (not sure if I have it spelled right or not) However, it’s great and you wouldn’t know that it’s made with rice. They have many shapes to choose from and even a veg blend as well!
