Want to add in a punch of flavor in a really easy way? Try making your own flavor infused olive oil! My favorite is garlic and I will use this rather than regular when sauteeing to give the dish some added boost! You can also use for dipping!
Garlic Olive Oil
Preheat oven to 350. Pour 3 cups of olive oil in an ovenproof casserole dish. Peel and separate one head of garlic and add to dish. Roast in oven until golden about 30 minutes. Let cool and remove garlic with slotted spoon. Pour into a resealable bottle with a funnel and store in a dark place for up to two weeks!
Basil Olive Oil
Heat 3 cups of olive oil in a pan on the stovetop, add two stems of washed and dried fresh basil, only heat for about five minutes. Let cool, remove basil and and store in the same fashion as above.
